Travel Tuesday

Swarovski Crystal Factory, Austria
Swarovski crystal is amazing, so I guess a person could not expect anything less from the museum aspect either...It was an interesting museum with a cutting edge and more modern than imaginable. The picture below is the entrance into the museum. I can’t remember the exact legend behind the eyes, but I do know they are made out of crystal and change colors.

I especially liked this hallway… I thought it was interesting… I particularly like the reflection of the boys…

Andy Warhol would be especially fond of the displayed art. The art varied from whimsical and flamboyant to dark and uncanny. Below are a few pictures for you to take pleasure in…

This is a portion of a room of mirrors and every few seconds the room would get dark and a section would light up and display a piece of crystal. We had lots of laughs trying to find our reflections!! How cool is that?!

Can you find any of us? Ha. Ha. We could not either, go figure!

There were some really great pieces of art displayed. I can’t wait to post more images in the near future.

Lana really enjoyed this section of the museum! Those are huge crystal pieces with reflective lights and there were so many different designs, colors, and shapes displayed. It was sort of like a maze and you weaved in and out of each one to really get a close-up of the uniqueness of each piece.
