Christmas 2020

Happy Christmas....

Santa came for a visit....

I made a small hot cocoa bar of treats..... Help yourself to some crushed graham crackers, marshmallows, cake bombs, cream, caramel, peppermint bark, and tiny chocolate chips.

Wishing you all warm winter blessings of the holiday season.

Christmas Eve 2020

Merry merry Christmas!  Let me start off by saying, I'm so happy to be off for the holiday break. Jayce is home for the holidays so it has been nice with us all together at home. We are anxiously awaiting  for Anouk to be here too! We took some random photos throughout the day.

 Cozy by the fireside

They are bored and wanting to unwrap gifts!  LoL

I wrapped all the presents.  I must say, I think I did a pretty good job.

The fun begins...

I made apple crescent dumplings.  First you peel and cut apple into slices then wrap in crescent dough.

Melt 1 stick of butter and mix with 1 cup of brown sugar and 1 teaspoon of ground  cinnamon

Pour on the rolls

Then add a small amount of 7 up

Pour it in-between the rows

Bake 350 degrees for about 33 minutes

Super delicious! You are welcome!

The boys made sliders...

Simple toppings

And, twice baked potatoes.....

Merry Christmas Eve!

Lana had a small gathering with a few of her friends.

They made gingerbread houses, watched Christmas movies, exchanged gifts,  and ate snacks.

Thanksgiving 2020

Let's get cooking......

We had the traditional type Thanksgiving meal as usual because it's the BEST.  I made mini pumpkin cream pies with a secret ingredient.

The secret ingredient is....   You should give it a try.

We made two turkeys, one oven baked and the other fried.  Both tasted delicious.

I made an avocado chocolate mousse.  I've been wanting to try it for awhile now, and Thanksgiving seemed like perfect timing.   It turned out well.  However, I think I want to try another recipe.

Let's EAT.......

Dinner was exceptional.

The desserts were amazing!

Jayce made a butterscotch drink for a nightcap.  YUM!

Here's to wishing you a wonderful holiday season!
