We had a mishap at our home shortly after returning from vacation in Utah. We arrived late in the evening, showered, then bed. We woke up the next morning to low water pressure and minimal hot water. We called the plumber and he quickly realized that our water softener and hot water tank were no longer functioning. So we decided to purchase a tank-less hot water tank and a much improved water softener.
We had 2 hot water tanks that were removed from the attic space.
We have never ending hot water, not to mention, less energy and expense. Did I mention never ending hot water? :)
