Christmas Merriment *Breakfast With Santa

We arrived home late last night from a weekend that was full of Christmas merriment. First, we had breakfast with Santa near the Riverwalk. The breakfast was delicious and we had a wonderful time.

In the picture above, we are arriving at the restaurant Aldaco’s. It was a traditional breakfast with omelets, pancakes, sausage, bacon, potatoes, breakfast muffins, etc.

Below, Jayce and Lana are smiling it up for the camera!

The atmosphere was very vibrant and festive. This was actually the first year they had decided to cater a “Breakfast with Santa event”. The staff was very friendly too.

After breakfast, Lana was a bit shy to go and talk to Santa… She walked very slowly….

Then she quickly warmed up to him and I heard her say something about his reindeer. She was just the sweetest.

After Lana talked with Santa for a bit, we went to decorate cookies. I thought this was a really nice touch they added to the breakfast event.

We all decorated a cookie; except for Lana, she decorated TWO of them!

She liked decorating the cookies to a great extent. She took her time decorating each one.

BJ did decorate his own star cookie. However, he was nearby to help Lana if she needed it.

Jayce joined in by decorating a Christmas tree cookie.

He was quite proud of his cookie decorating skills… (lol)

And, here is the extra close-up shot! (lol)

Before saying good-bye to Santa and leaving, we took a few pictures nearby a Christmas tree.

This is a photo that was provided by the restaurant. …What a wonderful Breakfast with Santa!

Next up… Christmas on the Riverwalk.
