As I posted previously, we had crown molding installed in all the areas not done from a couple years ago. I love the look of crown molding. It really makes the high ceilings more interesting and enhances the appearance of a home overall.
We finished the crown molding in all the areas of our home except for the foyer. The ceilings in the foyer are 20 feet high so he is going to return to finish the foyer.
We still need to replace the chandelier in the foyer. Unfortunately, we haven't found the right fit.
Lana was not too happy about taking down the LED lights, but soon Will should hang them back up for her.
I love how they added crown molding in the nooks. It's so pretty! I want to add a white chandelier to this area. I think it would be a nice touch.
The molding looks so pristine in her room.
This is Jayce's old room. It's my exercise area now. Lana wants us to add a bike. I'll probably focus more on this room during the summer months.
The molding looks amazing in the kitchen, I'm very pleased with how it turned out. My next goal for this area is to add wood beams across the top. I'm debating between adding 2 or 4. I think 4 beams may be too much.
I'm excited for the foyer to be completed. 😃😃
Anouk and family sent this to Will... It really is a nice addition to his bar.
I was sent the fragrance below... It smells amazing!
Golden Goose for me, fools!
Her fav!
Every year for as long as I can remember, Lana wants to make gingerbread houses. Most of the time, her brother and grandmother are here to assist, but this year, dad had to step up. Normally, we have extra supplies on hand, but this year, not so much.
They did have fun for sure!
It's still a cute though
This gingerbread house is undergoing renovations. Will says he can do better next year! 👀😂
Milo is 1 &1/2 year old, Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. He is a great dog to say the least. He's well natured, friendly, and one of the best snuggle buddies out there. He's a total love bug.
Milo went through a 2 week board and train program. He did really well. He learned to work obstacle courses, heel, and be off leash with high distractions. We are so proud of Milo. He is an excellent paw companion with the best doggie manners ever! Tara and Gary, trainers and owners, of All Around K9 Training are absolutely amazing! They took such good care of Milo. We couldn't of ask for a better experience.
Milo went a day or two before Halloween and return to us mid November. We met up with them a couple of times to review different training techniques. They helped every member of our family be successful in understanding how to continue the training.
Below are some of the pictures they took of Milo during his training with them.
Like I mention previously, It was evident they handled him with love and care. Milo did not have any major behavior issues, but we wanted him to be well trained, have great recall, heel, and handle high distractions with confidence. All Around K9 Training exceeded our expectations! Their facility was very clean. The crates provided plenty of space for Milo to sleep. They also had the obstacle course, chickens, horses, and other animals on property. Lots of space for Milo to run and be active. A total DOG HEAVEN!
Prior to selecting All Around K9 Training, I almost sent Milo to a different training facility. Luckily, I went in person prior to signing up. It had great reviews, but the accommodations and the cleaning was not up to par for me. So I stalled on sending Milo to training.
One of Will's golf buddies had sent two of his dogs to All Around K9 Training. Will was visiting his buddy, afterwards, he mentioned how well trained his dogs were so I gave All Around K9 Training a call and we moved forward to sending Milo there. It was a good decision.
I felt very comfortable with my dog in their possession. They kept in constant communication with myself, Will, and Lana. They even shared videos and pictures along the way. We loved seeing the pictures of Milo and watching his progress. Milo knew basic commands, sit, stay, release, come, down, high five, and shake prior. Milo does not bark and he's a non aggressive. He is a very calm dog. But, he would get excited if we were on a walk, he would try and run to meet new people or other pups.
Milo did enjoy hanging out with his paw buddies, and he made new friends with Tara & Gary!
(Milo & Gary pictured)
To help Milo with high distractions, they took him to various public places to train.
I think Milo is nice. What do you think?
I cannot speak highly enough about Tara and Gary. Are you lovin' these pics too? The picture below is one of my FAVS!
Most importantly, Tara & Gary were thorough, honest, and genuinely cared for Milo. Because of them, he is a total PAW STAR! He's obedient, full of confidence, and displays the best dog manners ever! Thanks, Tara & Gary! Milo's smile says it all...
Milo back at home resting near the fire, all cozy after a bath.
Just for FUN pic.... Milo is always ready for the next adventure....
Last, but not least, his video!! Ahhhh...
Enjoy the VIDEO...
Way to go! M I L O !!!! *Special thanks to Morgan for creating such a great video!
Ok. Here is our most recent project. It was started about a week ago. We've been getting the rest of the crown molding installed around the house. We still have Lana's room to complete and our master closet later this week. Once it's completed, I will post pics.
It looks really pretty. I especially like it in the bathrooms, but Will likes the guest room the best. More pics to follow soon.
