Today we tackled the kitchen island. Truth be told, I have wanted to complete this project since the moment we moved in almost 7 years ago. Adding stone to any decor is as simple, direct, and beautiful as it gets. It's not often that you see a kitchen island made of anything other than wood, so the stone is a bold alternative.

The crew was awesome and they took great care with our belongings, floors, etc..
Messy of course, it's solid stone. Not veneer stone.
We didn't stop after the island. Nope. We also put stone around the column near the breakfast nook.
So beautiful, right?
