Thanksgiving 2017

We spent the Thanksgiving holiday at home, unlike last year we had dinner at Ruth's Chris Steak House, of course, no leftovers, which are Will's favorite part of Thanksgiving dinner.  I don't mind either way.  I just like to change it up a bit every now and then. We didn't cook as much food since Jayce was not home and we did not have any other company. All in all, we had a great simple meal.  

 Later in the evening we kept busy by decorating the house for Christmas.

Random House Chores

We are home for the Thanksgiving break... ahhhh, it's so beautiful hanging out at home all week, but it also means taking care of things around the house that time does not allow for during the school year. 

The window gang came for our routine window cleaning.  The house feels wonderful after the windows are cleaned, crystal clear too. 

Then, we had Christmas lights installed later in the afternoon. We went with multicolored lights since most everyone chooses white.  I like the whole gingerbread house look anyhow. 

We upgraded our carpet and had our new area rug delivered to have the custom cuts, then it should be re-delivered with padding after it is binded.  I can't wait!  

Below is a picture of a piece of the carpet closeup.  The colors are great mixture of neutrals, and it's incredibly soft.
