While we were traveling, construction had started on our pool. Our neighbor was kind enough to take pictures for me so that I could remain updated on the progress.
The picture above is the equipment slab. We actually had it extended so that we can add a heater. The picture below is an extension of the side patio. It will have a small wall around and three steps down. Originally, we wanted steps on both sides, but we did not want to lose the tree which is nearby, and it did not allow enough space for the steps to go down the back area, so we created the small wall. It will have flagstone on the backing and top ledge as well.
The pictures below show the start of marking off the decking around the pool. When finished we will have approximately 1000 square feet of decking around our pool.
