2012 was a difficult one. Extremely. Difficult. It had no qualms dealing a number of wildcards - mostly, but not all, were not kind. When I was sitting here last year, I certainly had no sense I would find myself dealing with so much pain inside my heart, grieving and missing my dear Aunt Louella and Aunt Pat. I also didn't know I'd be teaching at the best school ever, meet some of the kindest people, and learn to trust my decisions whole heartedly. By and large, I learned to forgive.
There you have it, 2012.
I’m a reflective person. That’s probably why I like blogging so much. But, there’s something about January, a new beginning. Having a clean slate, I guess you could say. It makes everything fresh and possible. I hope for continued health and happiness, simplicity, and laughter with my family. I hope to find a shining light amongst even the darkest of times.
I welcome a peaceful 2013.
Here’s to wishing you a peaceful new year too!
