Horseshoe Bay Jayce Birthday Cake!

What an amazing day on the water!

 

Fun In The Sun Poolside HB Yacht Club

After kayaking and making sand castles, we ventured over to the poolside for swimming, sunbathing, and lunch. I wanted to share my favorite aspect of the pool. (Check out picture below) Is it awesome or what? I have to tell ya, it was freaking SUPER! I cherished every moment of it and spent most of my time in there. It was actually an oversized three feet deep heated whirlpool.

This patio area (pictured below) had views of the lake and multiple firepits. Beautiful at night!

Yacht Club Horseshoe Bay Resort & Spa

This was the beach side of the Yacht Club. I’m not sure if I mentioned this previously, but the resort is located next to Lake LBJ. The resort was very large and spread out. Although there were guest all around the resort, it always felt as if you were the only one there. It was quiet even though kids were playing and enjoying themselves. The staff was very eager to meet your every need too. There were also cabana bars conveniently located throughout the poolside’s. LOVED it! 

 

I like this picture because of the bluish/gray hue’s and the sun shimmering through the clouds.

 

Lana enjoyed playing and making sand castles.

 

 

Kayaking was fun because we raced each other to the buoys and back multiple times!

Ok.... This is it for now. Next up, some fun in the sun poolside!

Gone Fishing At Horseshoe Bay Marina

We woke up super early and did some light fishing off the dock of the Marina before going over to the Yacht Club for kayaking, swimming, and lunch. After lunch, we caught some waves on the Jet Ski. SUPER FUN!

We had some great moments of peace and quiet.

 

We each caught multiple fish like this one, most a bit bigger and a few a bit smaller.

 

I cannot express enough what a great resort this is. We had a wonderful time. It was always so peaceful and relaxing. We loved every moment of it!
