More Horseshoe Bay Please

The resort is truly charming, don’t you think? I loved every moment we were there. Take a look for yourself at the pictures…

The giant checkered board is cool, huh? LOVE it!

We tossed around the football.

The boys decided to race.

It's going to be a close one.

Jayce wins!!

Lana and me.

Cute.

This is one of my favorite pictures of the two of them.

So sweet.

Jayce is soooo tall!

Horseshoe Bay

After getting our belongings in the room, we ventured out to explore the resort. It was big, but very easy to walk. The common areas were captivating. The resort offered a marina, yacht club, spa facilities, arts and crafts, arcade, bike riding, and other activities to enjoy. We definitely had plenty to occupy our time or just simply relax. I took many photographs… Enjoy this round!

Texas pride for sure!

The main lobby entrance.

The pool view from our room.

An outdoor sitting area for one of the restaurants.

Here we are looking at a map of the resort. Lana loves maps!

Okay, I’ll end here, don’t want to overkill the photos. Very beautiful, dont' you think?  I’ll post more tomorrow.

Horseshoe Bay Resort & Spa

After the recent loss of my aunt earlier this summer, life has taken on a completely different rhythm. As most of you know, because of grieving and being under so much stress, I have been keeping close to home, and it has been emotional. Traveling is my favorite joy, and we planned quite a few months ago a vacation to spend Jayce’s birthday at Horseshoe Bay Resort & Spa. Little did I know, how great it would really turn out to be.

We got up early and packed, headed to lunch, driving the back way, north to Marble Falls, Texas, where it was quiet, empty, and peaceful. We arrived at the resort and it is seemed completely secluded from the world. It was like our own little heaven. I have a profound amount of pictures to share, and will probably be slow pulling this one together (apologies!), hopefully you'll find it worth the wait….. To get started, I posted a few pictures of the drive into the resort. These were actually taken at night after arriving back from dinner in town.

I'll try to post more in a day or two... You are going to love the next round of images!

Rain Drops Kept Falling.....

…. And we danced in the rain!

Yesterday, while performing my best “Edward Scissor Hands” routine on the lawn it began to rain. Lana and I played in the rain,  jumped in many muddy puddles, all the while giggling and laughing non-stop.

HI! :D
After a bit BJ started taking pictures of us from inside the garage.

I really liked how I edited these pictures. I created a vintage type look to them. It fit the occasion, I thought.

Even though this was Lana’s first experience playing in the rain with us, it’s not unusual. We played in the rain often while living in Florida. It’s probably the main reason why Jayce likes the rain so much. Good times!
Catch me if you can!
Dance with me!
Pure joy!

Love, Love, Love the rain!
