Walk Around

When BJ and I finished working in the yard this afternoon I took Lana for a walk around the neighborhood.  We stopped at the park and she played with some friends for awhile.  During our wandering about we walked to the new gas station and restaurant that is going to open soon.  It's just outside the gate from our development.

Thanksgiving 2016

This year for Thanksgiving we went out to Ruth's Chris for dinner.  BJ and I had the turkey dinner and Lana ordered fillet mignon and fresh fruit.  BJ enjoyed his dinner very much.  Lana's steak tasted great!

For dessert we had pumpkin cheesecake and plain vanilla ice-cream.  Simple and sweet.

We missed Jayce and family this Thanksgiving!  Jayce stayed in Utah for Thanksgiving and had dinner with some of his college buddies.  We plan to drive to Utah for Christmas so we will see him soon enough. I'm So excited, can't wait!

The Pearl District

This week we've been out of school, thank goodness~ I was excited the break had finally arrived.  We spent most of our time yesterday at the Pearl.  It's a great area located downtown SA.  It's a nice change of pace from the Riverwalk.  The district is still growing, but there are a few restaurants to choose from and a few shops to explore.

Rampage Cheer

Last night Lana's cheer squad performed at the Rampage Hockey game!  It was super fun! Below Lana is with the mascot, T-Bone!

We were seated closer to the ice.  It was exciting to be near all the action.

Finalized Landscape & Lighting For Pool

We are in the final stages of designing our landscape, lighting, and waterfall feature on the pool.  We had our front and side yard lighting completed with another company so we are having a bit of reservations for the landscape contractor to complete that portion.  Kichler is a good product, but we love the look of our lights and want it to match all around the house.  Nonetheless, the landscaping looks great!  Oh, and we are adding gutters to the back.  That should be completed this week.  At this point, everything has been approved with HOA for pool construction and we should break ground any day now!   Yay!!
