Woah - what a last few weeks we’ve had. We’ve done a bunch of things. I've finally had a moment to sit here at my computer desk, and yes, quite a lot has unfolded since I last checked in. If this post doesn't bring my server to its knees, I don't know what will. The upload of photos from our visit to the lake, Jayce receiving an award at school, projects at home, and Lana’s artwork, I went a bit overkill on the photo front.
Here's the back story...One afternoon, we went to explore the lake near our home. The water was disappointing low, but it was still nice to relax and enjoy it for a moment.
After we returned home, Jayce and I spray painted the storage area on back of the golf cart, I wrapped a board in weathered proof indoor/outdoor grass, so it is no longer rusted and it’s nice to tote our stuff in to and from the pool.
Lana’s grandma sent her a backpack for her birthday, and she spent this afternoon coloring it. I was very impressed by her ability to stay inside the lines and attention to detail.

I thought you might enjoy seeing the “green Dora”. It’s pretty great, considering Lana did it mostly by herself.
I think it’s fair to say, they look cute in the picture below.
By the time you see this, you are already aware that Jayce received an academic excellence award from school. He did exceptionally well and we are proud of his accomplishments.
Mr. GQ, Jayce is so handsome.
