Forest Park

The hotel overlooked Forest Park, which was beautiful!  I loved the trees!!  We walked all through the park enjoying the view.

St. Louis (Day Two)

We walked to the subway from the hotel to visit the arch.

The arch is a pretty cool site to see....

Then we walked to the baseball stadium...

BASEBALL!!

St. Louis, MO (Day One)

Will and I took off to St. Louis from San Antonio, he had a business trip to attend for work and I tagged along without our kids, which was the first time ever! 

St. Louis is ranked # 2 in the USA for the highest crime rate.  I was in total shock because it is such a pretty city.

We visited the Chess Hall of Fame. Below is a picture of the world's largest chess piece. Since my girl is on the chess team at school, I had to check this place out!

This reminded me of the checker board at the Horseshoe Bay Resort we visited many years ago, very large pieces.

The art was featured on 3 different levels.  Very unique.

We went to dinner at the Whiskey House.

 There was a local grocer across the street and we bought some goodies along with this chocolate bar!  yum!
