Riverwalk & Museums

My mom has been to visit us a couple of times so far these past couple of months. While on her first visit, we went to the Riverwalk and a couple of museums (The Alamo, Ripley’s, and The Wax). Although her visit was short each time, we still enjoyed our time together. Before heading out the door, Jayce decided to be silly while striking a pose with grandma!

The Riverwalk is always beautiful in my opinion. I could never get bored of walking down there. I wish I would have taken more photos but I am sure I will have plenty of more opportunities to do so.

I enjoyed taking in the scenery while watching the critters in the tree’s and the ducks swimming about in the water. The Riverwalk is so romantic and peaceful.

We bought tickets to go on the water boat; however, we did not go during that time due to the heat. You can bet I will be going this autumn.

I feel this is a great picture of BJ and Lana. She looks so grown up; we are slowly ending the baby days as she becomes more and more independent as each day passes.

I didn’t take many pictures of the Alamo, but will get more next time. We did get a few of us as we toured the area learning more about the Battle of The Alamo. The big tree was magnificent.

The Wax Museum was interesting and some of them disturbing. I took a few pictures of the figures displayed. Johhny Depp was my favorite; he is such a tiny dude.

The Ripley’s museums were super fun and cool! I liked all the funny and interesting stuff they had on display to view. Some of it was creepy!

This is one huge tire. Jayce and I could not help ourselves.....FUN!

Visit In Amarillo

Tatum's 4th Birthday Celebration

During our visit to Amarillo, we were able to join in the celebration of Tatum’s 4th birthday! It was very exciting to see her since three years had already passed by. She is a darling little girl. Lana enjoyed hanging out and meeting everyone for the first time.

Tatum’s birthday was held at a jump place (can’t remember the exact name), but it was an exciting time for everyone. It was especially nice to see the kids so cute and giggly with joy while running to each new jump station!

The decorations were a perfect fit for Tatum. Don’t you think the cake is awesome?

We really enjoyed our visit in Amarillo on Tatum’s birthday. I hope you enjoy the random photos below….

Happy Birthday Jayce!

Jayce had a great birthday! We had BJ’s parents (Bill & Teresa) come for a visit as well as my mother (Lorraine). He kept it low key with a cook out here at home and pies for dessert. Jayce wanted pies, pies, and pies! And, we delivered with chocolate, key-lime, pumpkin, and Boston cream pies. (I know it is really more of a cake, but it ends in pie.)

I’m thinking, all his wishes are coming true….. He is a very blessed child, and we are very proud of him.

Jayce with Lana, Grandma Teresa, PaPa, and his dad. Happy Birthday Jayce!! We love you!

I will be playing catch up by posting pictures here on the blog and on Facebook, so check back very soon…..I have tons to blog about!

4th Of July

I did not get many pictures from July 4, but we had a nice time. BJ’s parents came for a visit as well as his brother and his family. Below are a few pictures of Lana. I think she looks super cute in her outfit!

Lana really enjoyed watching the fireworks, especially stomping and making them “POP”!!

Yay PaPa!
